an upaghātārjita

The term "anupaghātārjita" (Sanskrit: अनुपघातार्जित) refers to something
acquired without detriment to the paternal estate. It is an adjective
describing property, wealth, or inheritance that has been obtained in
a manner that does not harm or reduce the rights or assets originally
belonging to the family patriarch. In legal and classical Sanskrit
contexts, this term ensures that the acquisition respects the integrity
of the paternal estate.

Synonymously, it is written as Anupaghatarjita or An-upaghatarjita
and is found in texts such as the Manu-smṛti and related Sanskrit
literature. The literal meaning emphasizes "not causing loss
or harm to inherited property".
